笛を吹く (ぶえをふく)

笛 (ぶえ) [flute; clarinet; pipe]
吹 (ふき)[blow; breathe; puff]

There is a Japanese superstition that states if you whistle inside your house, you'll be bitten by a snake.

Oh, and one other thing (minor thing): "superstition" is めいしん(迷信), not めしん.
